These Key West charter fishing boats are usually 22 to 28 ft. and are
extremely flexible for an endless variety of catches. Experienced Key
West captains will bring out the big tackle for sharks and other large
bottom fish, or anchor over reefs and wrecks to reel in such tasty specimens
as yellowtail snapper and black grouper.
These boats have a "bimini top" to keep off the sun, and plenty
of room to move about the boat as you fish. A few of these light-tackle
fishing boats will combine activities and provide a bag of snorkel gear
if you want to swim.
They are priced at $500-550 for half-day and $800-900 for a full 8 hours.
Usually, these Captains prefer to take no more than 4 to 5 people in a
group.
